My Previous Notes:

I have been making notes from The Economic Times from 5th February, 2006. I was doing this basically to keep myself well informed about the Indian Economy and Business scenario. I have seen that more often than not, many people who participate in various meetings at government level are not 'well informed'. But then when I started making the notes, I have seen that this hobby of staying well informed actually helps out all the potential IAS aspirants and aspirants of various other competitive examinations in India. Hence the launching of the blogs.

One caveat: As I have kept the notes basically to stay well informed, it is heavy on figures and other market related stuff; which may be a bit of overkill for some of you. Use as much as you feel is enough and serves your purpose.

Notes from 5th February to 30th September 2006

NCERT Text Book Links:

Given below is the link from where you can download all the NCERT Text Books from their site. Almost all the text books from Class I to Calss XII are available. Click on the link to go over to NCERT site. There you can choose the text book that you want to download.

http://www.ncert.nic.in/textbooks/testing/Index.htm

I find that NCERT is changing the above link from time to time. If the given link doesn't work, just go over to the main site i.e., www.ncert.nic.in and look for the download link.

  6. Murali,

You click on the each chapter in the contents page. It will display you the relevant chapter in your Acrobat Reader. From there use File-->Save As and save each chapter. Then either combine them all into one or print out each chapter and you have the whole book with you.
